37 Mr. Sherlock asked the Minister for Finance if he will give the total cost of administering the special voting system for the disabled in the recent General Election; the total number of persons who availed of this facility; and the average cost to the State per special voter.

The total cost of administering the special voting system was £29,015. There were 3,350 special voters and accordingly the average cost to the State per special voter was £8.66.
