31 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for the Marine if he has received a development plan from the Tralee/Fenit harbour commissioners; and if he will indicate the funding which will be provided in order to ensure that the works, specified in the development plan, will be carried out.
Proposals have been received from Tralee and Fenit Harbour Commissioners in connection with dredging at Fenit Harbour estimated at £400,000. These proposals will be considered in the context of my Departments five year fishery harbour development programme.
It would be premature to say what funds, if any, would be available towards the cost of these works until the aforementioned programme is finalised.
