62 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Finance when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of (1) a refund of VAT for land reclamation work claimed in November 1989, and (2) a refund of VAT on a bulk tank claimed in March 1990.
I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that a claim in respect of land reclamation was paid to the person in question on 25 September 1989 and that they have no record of a further such claim from him. The claim in respect of a bulk tank has been approved for payment and a cheque in full settlement will issue shortly.
