Ceist:54 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if his attention has been drawn to recent reports that some butchers have been applying brinite to meat; the efforts which are being made by his Department to prevent this practice; the steps he is taking to alert the public to the dangers of brinite; and the way in which the consumer might be able to detect it.
