Ceist:59 Dr. Lee asked the Minister for Labour the allocation made to his Department for the purchase and the development by CERT of the Stafford Freeney site located at Amiens Street, Seville Place, Dublin 1.

CERT funded the cost of the purchase of the Amiens Street site from Properties Limited and Skyline Limited through the sale of its premises at Ailesbury Road.
As stated in my reply on 1 May 1990 to the Deputy's question concerning the purchase price of the site, £3 million is being provided via the Exchequer and the Structural Funds for the construction, fitting out, etc. of CERT's new headquarters and training centre. A sum of £1.730 million is being provided in 1990 with the balance to be provided in 1991.
