Ceist:

68 Mr. Ferris asked the Minister for the Environment if he has received proposals for capital funding from Tipperary South Riding County Council for the provision of a reservoir in North Fethard, County Tipperary, to overcome the serious water shortage in that area.

Proposals to augment the Fethard regional water supply scheme were submitted to my Department by the County Council in 1986. Further documentation was requested from the council but this has not yet been received in my Department.
