221 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Education the reason for the delay in arriving at an agreement with Cork Corporation for the purchase of a site for Gaelscoil an Athar Tadhg Ó Murchú, as the pupils of the school will be without accommodation in September 1991 unless an immediate decision is made to purchase the site and erect the school.
I would refer the Deputy to my reply to his question of 31 January, 1990. Since then my Department's architect has inspected the site and because of the presence of pylons and high tension cables, he found it necessary to have discussions with the local ESB. He has asked the ESB for an estimate of the cost of rerouting the pylons and cables and when this has been received the matter will be further considered.
