220 Mr. Noonan (Limerick East) asked the Minister for Education if tenders submitted for an extension to a school in County Limerick (details supplied) have been examined; if a contractor has been appointed; when she expects work to commence; the expected completion date; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Tenders for the proposed extension to the national school referred to by the Deputy which were received in my Department on 18 April 1990 are being examined. I am not in a position, at this point, to say when building works will be commenced or completed.
