It is not possible in the time available to furnish a list of the offices of the Revenue Commissioners where facilities do not exist. However many of their offices do have easy access for those using wheelchairs.
The provision of special facilities for easy access to the buildings listed above will be reviewed as the need arises and as finances become available.

Ceist:

84 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Finance if he will outline, in respect of each State body for which he is statutorily responsible, the public buildings where easy access facilities such as ramps, lifts or otherwise for persons using wheelchairs do not exist; the services provided in the buildings; and the plans to improve accessibility thereto.

The public buildings of the State bodies for which I am statutorily responsible all have access facilities for persons using wheelchairs with the exception of one building occupied by the Industrial Credit Corporation. As this is an old building, there are practical difficulties in providing such facilities. The ICC are being made aware by my Department of the desirability of providing access facilities for persons using wheelchairs.
