Vol. 398 No. 10

Written Answers. - Innisboffin (County Donegal) Island Landing Facilities.

Dinny McGinley

Ceist:

94 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for the Marine if his attention has been drawn to the condition of the slipway and landing facilites at Innisboffin Island, County Donegal; if his officials have carried out an inspection or a survey; if there are any plans to carry out repairs; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

My Department has been asked by Roinn na Gaeltachta to report on the landing facilities at Innisboffin Island, County Donegal. An engineer from my Department has visited the island and his report is currently being completed. It is hoped to furnish a report to An Roinn as soon as possible.

On receipt of this report, the consideration of repairs, if any, will be a matter for Roinn na Gaeltachta.
