Ceist:

160 Mr. Taylor asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the urgent repairs and improvements necessary at Saggart national school, County Dublin; and if she will make arrangements to have this school put into a proper safe and sanitary condition; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

I am aware of the necessary remedial works required for this school. My Department's architect has carried out a thorough investigation of the school and has reported on the matter. The architect's report is under consideration in my Department. A decision in this matter will be conveyed to the school authorities shortly.
