Ceist:171 Tomás Mac Giolla asked the Minister for Education the projected intake of students to teacher training colleges for the years 1990 to 1995 inclusive.
Written Answers. - Teacher Training Colleges Intake.
The intake of the Colleges of Education for 1990 will be 275 students. As I indicated in my reply to the Deputy's Question No. 356 of 25 April 1990 projected intakes for future years are not available as intake is determined on a year-to-year basis.
The overall position in relation to teacher recruitment will be considered in the light of the report of the primary review body.
