Ceist:111 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for the Environment if he will make money available in the 1991 capital allocations for the Cross Avenue and Mountwood pilot refurbishment schemes in Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin.

Proposals under the remedial works scheme which have been received from Dún Laoghaire Corporation in respect of these estates are being examined in the Department. A decision on their eligibility for funding will be conveyed to the authority as soon as possible. The question of a capital allocation for 1991 under the public capital programme will be considered in the light of the amount available for the programme, the priority accorded by the corporation to the projects and the competing demands of other authorities.
