Ceist:32 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health if he has available to him, through the VHI, statistics which would indicate for each of the past ten years (a) the approximate number of operations carried out in private hospitals throughout the country, (b) the average duration of the post-operative stay in hospital in such cases and (c) the average cost per bed per day; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
