Vol. 399 No. 8

Written Answers. - Driving Test Application.

Frank Fahey

Ceist:

114 Mr. F. Fahey asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a person (details supplied) in County Waterford who applied for a driving test on 24 November 1989, was called for test on 27 March 1990, on which date the tester failed to turn up, and despite repeated efforts on his behalf stating the urgency of the case because of a potential job opportunity, is now being called for test on 6 July 1990 at 12.30 in Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The driver tester was taken ill on the date scheduled for this person's test. Efforts made to contact the applicant beforehand were unsuccessful. A test has now been arranged for 14 June.
