33 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the present position regarding negotiations on the delineation of our rights on the disputed areas of the continental shelf.
Both Denmark and Iceland lay claim to large areas of the Irish continental shelf off the west coast of Ireland. Both claims have been rejected by the Government and no negotiations are, at present, taking place in relation to these claims.
