Ceist:84 Mr. Cotter asked the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the fact that local authorities are finding it extremely difficult to maintain insurance payments in respect of playgrounds and playground facilities; that in many cases the local authorities have removed equipment from existing playgrounds therefore defeating the purpose for which they were put in place; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
