188 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the number on the waiting list for housing in County Westmeath; and if he intends to make any additional allocation to bring this waiting list to manageable proportions.
Details of the assessment of housing needs at 30 September 1989 carried out by Westmeath County Council were submitted to my Department; in this regard I would refer the Deputy to the reply to Questions Nos. 29, 70 and 73 of the 28 February, 1990.
The position in relation to the capital available for the local authority housing programme is set out in the reply to Question No. 169 of 27 February 1990.
