216 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for the Environment if he will list the existing fish breeding and rearing operations which are located in rivers, lakes or reservoirs upstream of drinking water in lakes; and the operations which have been closed down to date in 1990.
Sanitary authorities have been requested to provide information on existing fish breeding and rearing operations located in rivers, lakes or reservoirs upstream of drinking water intakes where there is a potential risk to the water supply. I expect to have these details shortly. Information on operations which closed down in 1990 is not available in my Department.
