Ceist:29 Mr. G. O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Defence if permission will be granted to Defence Force personnel to wear the blood donor emblem on their uniforms, if they so wish.

Personnel of the Defence Forces already have permission to wear a wide range of medals and emblems on their uniforms, including the gold or silver Fáinne and the badge or pin of the Poineer Total Abstinence Association. There are no plans at present to grant permission to personnel to wear the blood donor emblem on their uniforms.
