Ceist:

49 Mr. G. O'Sullivan asked the Minister for the Environment if, in view of the serious situation regarding housing in Cork, he will allocate extra funding to Cork Corporation so that many families on the housing waiting list would be assured of accommodation in a reasonable time period.

I would refer the Deputy to the reply to Question No. 169 of 27 February 1990. It is not possible to sanction any further starts under the programme this year.
