It is hoped to have this grant paid within the next four to five weeks.

Michael Creed

Ceist:

85 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; the reason for the delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

It is hoped to have this grant paid inside the next four to five weeks. The processing of the claim took slightly longer than usual because of the need for certain clarifications before the payment could be certified.

Theresa Ahearn

86 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a farm improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

It is hoped to have this application determined shortly. If the applicant is found to be eligible payment will be made as soon as possible.

Michael Lowry

Ceist:

87 Mr. Lowry asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the current position in relation to an application for a grant under the farm development scheme in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary.

The grant in this case will be processed for payment when certain necessary receipts which were requested by the local farm development service are received from the applicant.
