Ceist:95 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food whether a cut in milk quota will occur for dairy farmers in the milk marketing year 1991-92; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The EC Commission is committed to examining the operation of the super-levy regime and to submitting their report to the Council before the end of March 1991. As the report has not yet been prepared and as it is not clear at this stage what will be the outcome of the Commission's examination, it would be inappropriate for me to attempt to predict any Council decision on the future operation of the super-levy regime.
