Ceist:

29 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Finance if he will update to 1990 the figures in Table 20 of The cost of Violence arising from the Northern Ireland Crisis since 1969 which was adopted by the New Ireland Forum on 3rd November, 1983.

It is not possible to update all elements of the table in question. Information for part A of the table, dealing with Exchequer costs, is available up to, and including, 1989. This information is as follows:
