Ceist:38 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Finance when a certificate of tax-free allowance will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford who is currently on emergency tax.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that a certificate of tax-free allowances for the current tax year 1990-91 was issued to the taxpayer on 9 November 1990. Any tax over-deducted since the commencement of his employment will be refunded to him by his employers on the operation of this certificate.
