Vol. 402 No. 8

Written Answers - Garda Commissioner Report.

Tony Gregory

Ceist:

77 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice if, arising from his reply to Parliamentary Question No. 153 of 12 July 1990, a detailed response has now been made by the Garda authorities to the correspondence from the residents association referred to; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the subject matter of the correspondence referred to in the question is receiving on-going attention from the gardaí at Fitzgibbon Street station. A garda sergeant met the secretary of the Residents' Association on 18 September 1990 to inform him of the action being taken by the gardaí in the matter and a letter will issue to the association in the near future setting out the up-to-date situation.
