asked the
Minister for Justice
if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the only staff member now working in the probate office in Cork is a receptionist who has no experience of handling probate matters and that, consequently, probate applications currently lodged in the Cork district probate office are not being dealt with, thereby causing severe hardship to many members of the public; and if he will take steps to have a probate officer appointed to the Cork office without delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
