I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that the reference quoted refers to ongoing correspondence concerning a registration of title which was completed on 24 February 1982.

Ceist:85 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Justice when the dealing will be completed in a Land Registry application (details supplied) in County Cork.
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that the application referred to is for registration of title which was lodged in the Land Registry on 6 April 1990. Due to the pressure of work generally there is, at present, a delay in dealing with applications of this nature.
I am also informed, however, that it is the policy of the Land Registry to try, as far as possible, to expedite cases in which it can be established that special circumstances of urgency exist. I understand that this has been established in the case in question and that registration of title is being expedited.
