93 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for the Environment if he will detail the refurbishment proposals submitted by Dublin Corporation for its properties at Blessington Street, Dublin 7; if he will expedite the sanctioning of the refurbishment works; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The corporation's proposal to accept a tender for phase 1 of this project, which involves re-roofing, has been approved. Further documentation for phase 2 which was recently received is under examination and a decision will be conveyed to the authority as soon as possible. The works include repairs to floors, staircases, windows and doors, plumbing, the installation of central heating, internal alterations to rooms and corridors, the creation of lobbies and landscaping.
