95 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Education the progress which has been made on the rationalisation of post-primary education facilities in the Ballyshannon/Bundoran areas of County Donegal; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
My Department are examining the suitability of possible sites for the development of a single community school to facilitate the rationalisation of the post-primary schools in Ballyshannon and Bundoran. It is expected that this assessment of the feasibility of the various options will be completed shortly and it is intended to proceed with the architectual planning of the project in the near future.
