Ceist:

94 Mr. Leonard asked the Minister for Education when it is proposed to provide a centre of further education in the Cavan/Monaghan area in order to develop a range of post second level education and training programmes, geared to local industry and services and enterprise development as proposed in the National Development Plan 1989-1993 for the north west sub-region.

As the Deputy will be aware a range of post second level education and training programmes are already being provided in the north west sub-region both in second level schools and third level colleges, geared to supporting the sectoral objectives set out in the national development plan.
