Despite prior appointments, the applicant has failed, on a number of occasions, to provide access to the house for an inspection. In the circumstances it has not been possible to pay the grant.

An inspection, with a view to payment of the grant, will be carried out as soon as possible.

Ceist:177 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange to have an early inspection carried out in the case of a new house grant application by persons (details supplied) in County Kilkenny who applied three months ago; and if the application is in order.
The application was received last month. An inspection, with a view to payment of the grant, will be carried out as soon as possible.
