286 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Education when a grant towards the provision of extra computers and typewriters to a school (details supplied) in County Tipperary will be paid; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

My Department do not allocate a special grant for the purchase of additional computers or typewriters in secondary schools.

However, I do intend to keep this matter under consideration within my Department.
