Donal Carey

Ceist:

83 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Clare will be paid his suckler cow and cattle headage grants; and when his file was passed by the Ennis office.

Payments to this applicant under the 1990 suckler cow premium and cattle and equines headage schemes have already been made.

His file was passed for payment by the Ennis office on 1 December 1990.

Payment to this applicant under the 1990 suckler cow premium scheme has already been made. His file was passed for payment by the Ennis office on 24 December 1990.

His payment under the 1990 cattle and equines headage scheme is being processed and will issue shortly.

This applicant has already been paid his 1990 cattle and equines headage and suckler cow premium schemes grants. His 1990 special beef premium scheme payment is being processed and will issue shortly.

There was no undue delay in payment in this case.

This applicant's 1990 cattle and equines headage scheme payment is being processed and will issue shortly.

His 1990 sheep headage grant will be paid within the next two weeks. The final instalment of the 1990 ewe premium will be paid in March-April when the exact amount of the premium is established by the EC.

I understand that arrangements for a refund of the levy to the producer concerned are being made by his co-operative and will be forwarded to him shortly.
