124 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Education the number of library places available in each of the third level colleges of education in the State; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
The information requested by the Deputy is not immediately available in my Department.
125 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Education if she will meet a delegation from Ballyneale national school, Carrick-on-Suir, County Tipperary, to discuss the urgent need for an extension to its present accommodation; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
A sketch plan for the proposed extension to Ballyneale national school has been completed and it will be sent to the school authorities at an early date to enable them to seek local authority planning premission. In the light of these facts I do not believe that a meeting is necessary at this stage.
