Ceist:36 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for the Marine if his attention has been drawn to (a) the condition of the pier at Blacksod, Ballina, County Mayo, (b) the fact that this pier can not be used at the present time and that the fishing season starts in a matter of weeks and (c) that fishermen are unable to put fishing gear on to their boats due to the state and condition of the pier surface; if he will outline his proposals to rectify this matter; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
