Written Answers. - Acquisition of Dublin Site.

Ceist:

40 Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for Finance the current position on the application by Dublin County Council to acquire a site at the Old Coach Road, Balrothery, County Dublin which is vested in the State under the State Property Act, 1954; and, in view of the derelict condition of same, if he will arrange for this transaction to be resolved as a matter of urgency.

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that I have agreed to the granting of a waiver in respect of the property concerned.

The office of the Chief State Solicitor are in the process of communicating with Dublin County Council with regard to the actual terms and conditions of such a waiver.
