Ceist:187 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Health when a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny will have a cataract operation carried out.

I understand that the person referred to by the Deputy was seen as an out-patient at a clinic in Kilkenny on 15 December 1990.
The decision with regard to when a patient will have his/her operation performed is a matter for the consultant concerned and the Deputy will appreciate that it is not a matter in which I have any involvement.
