201 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education the number of permanent wholetime primary teachers in each county in the years 1980, 1985 and 1990.
The information sought by the Deputy is not available for 1980 in my Department. The total number of primary teachers employed in each county in 1985 and 1990 is shown in the following table. The figures refer to ordinary national schools and exclude special classes for handicapped children attached to these schools.
