Ceist:31 Mr. McGahon asked the Minister for Defence the number of permanent Defence Force personnel who have left the Defence Forces since 1 January 1989.

In the period from 1 January, 1989 to 31 December, 1990 a total of 1,321 members of the Permanent Defence Force retired, were discharged or were transferred to the Reserve Defence Force.
