65 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Justice the number of letters issued by his Department since 1 January, 1990, to couples adopting in Romania, confirming that a child adopted by them in that country can enter this State without a visa.

Four hundred and seventy-seven letters have issued from my Department in the period 1 January 1990 to date to couples wishing to adopt children in Romania for presentation to the immigration officer at the port of entry in order to facilitate entry clearance.
