Ceist:307 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education the up to date position regarding school integration at Caher-civeen, County Kerry.

I take it the Deputy is referring to the integration of pupils with special needs into ordinary schools.
As the Deputy will know, additional teaching resources have now become available under the Programme for Economic and Social Progress.
My Department are at present considering how best to apportion these resources to achieve maximum benefit and the need to support the integration process will form part of this consideration.
