63 Mr. Dukes asked the Minister for Education if she will outline the areas of expenditure by vocational education committees which are covered under the provisions for non-pay in (a) Subhead F of Vote 28 and (b) Subhead C of Vote 29
Non pay expenditure under the subheads in question covers areas such as:
—Office Expenses
—Repairs/Maintenance
—Insurance of Buildings
—Equipment (including Renewals-Repairs)
—Travelling and subsistence expenses
—Books, Stationery, Class Materials, Rent/Rates
—Cleaning Materials
—Heating/Lighting
64 Mr. Dukes asked the Minister for Education if she will give details of nonpayment expenditure by each vocational education committee from funds provided under Subhead F of Vote 28 and Subhead C of Vote 29 for each year since 1986; and the proposed expenditure by each committee under these subheads for 1991.
Details of non-pay expenditure from the subheads in question since 1986 could not be supplied in the time available.
I will communicate further with the Deputy in this matter as soon as possible.
