73 Mr. Barry asked the Taoiseach if he will outline the number of secondhand private cars registered in the State for the first time in 1990, analysed by the year of first registration abroad, showing the number for each year from 1980 to 1989, with a residual figure, and distinguishing between cars first registered (i) in Japan and (ii) in other countries.
The following table sets out the information requested by the Deputy in the first part of the question. No information on the country of first registration is available.
