88 Mr. G. O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Finance the current position regarding the future of Model School Buildings, Cork which is the responsibility of the Office of Public Works; the future uses which are being considered for this listed building; and if permission will be given to provide prefab buildings for the school classes.

Minister for Finance (Mr. A. Reynolds):

All possible options for the future use of these premises are being examined by the Commissioners of Public Works, in consultation with the Department of Education.

Until this examination has been completed it is not possible to say if prefabs for school purposes will be provided on the site.
