Ceist:129 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice if he will list (1) the places of detention under section 108 of the Children Act, 1908 and (2) those places of detention certified under the Criminal Justice Act, 1960.

The details sought by the Deputy are as follows: the places of detention under section 108 of the Children Act, 1908 are as follows (a) Trinity House School, Lusk, County Dublin; (b) Oberstown Remand and Assessment Centre, Oberstown, Lusk, County Dublin; and (c) Finglas Children's Centre (Remand and Assessment Unit).
St. Patrick's Institution, North Circular Road, Dublin 7, a place of detention for male offenders aged 16 years or over and under 21, is the only place of detention provided under the Criminal Justice Act, 1960.
