Ceist:110 Mrs. Fennell asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will indicate the legislative measures his Department must take consequent to EC Directives in preparation for the open market in 1992.
Written Answers. - Single Market Directives.
Where national measures are required in order to implement the provisions of Community Directives in preparation for the Single Market, it is the normal practice of my Department to arrange for their introduction. I have also arranged for the publication periodically of a progress report regarding the implementation of Single Market measures. A copy of the most recent issue of this publication, entitled "European" and dated February 1991, has been deposited in the Oireachtas Library.
