Ceist:66 Mr. Rabbitte asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the progress made to date in implementing the environment action programme; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Considerable and satisfactory progress has been made in implementing the environment action programme, which contains proposals across a wide range of public sector activities affecting the environment. A detailed progress report on the implementation of the action programme will be published shortly by my Department.
