Ceist:

118 Mr. Taylor asked the Minister for Justice if he will provide the extra staff needed to clear the backlog in the payment of funds awarded to plaintiffs; and if he will make a statement on the lack of proper staffing in Circuit Court offices.

I am satisfied that there is now no undue delay arising in Circuit Court offices in the payment of funds awarded to plaintiffs and that the present staffing level in these offices is adequate to cope with the volume of business arising.
