43 Mr. G. O'Sullivan asked the Minister for the Marine if he will outline any development plans he has for the fishing port of Union Hall, County Cork, taking into consideration the increased activity at the port; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The development of the harbour at Union Hall, County Cork, is being considered within the context of the fishery harbour development programme announced by me last October.
A site investigation has been completed at Union Hall and its results are being studied by my Department's engineers at the moment. The next stage involving the preparation of a design will commence shortly.
